Quote from @Jessica Mayo:

Yeah what Taylor said. Propstream is great, I also use Batchleads and just happen to have a code for them.

This isn't my referral link it's someone else's, but it will get you free property records to get you started! https://batchleads.io/subto

I have some friends that invest in Chicago, if you ever have any leads that are asking too much, or there's no equity - we pay people $1000 for their dead leads if we can close them. Our investment strategy is longer-term buy and hold so we can afford to not cash flow in the beginning.

Reach out, always looking to squad up and add more people to my network and collaborate!

@Jessica Mayo thank you for the info. I sent you a request to connect looking forward to working with you.

Quote from @Taylor Dasch:

If you are going to go all in on Real Estate Investing, and wholesale to build capital for buy and holds, I would get a propstream membership, it is $100/month but the data is great for anyone in real estate.

Taylor thank you for the info that's good stuff.

Hi,

I have been looking online for a vacant list. I have watched Brandon Turner driving for dollars podcast and it seems that having this makes sense before going out. Most of my searches have landed me on websites that charge for the list which is ok but I'm not sure of all the criteria I should have included in this list. Can I anyone provide some suggestions for what I should look for in a list or point me in the right direction?

Hi All,

I'm new to investing and just signed for Pro recently. I know every market is different I'm just curious to know if anyone has advice on getting started in the chicago market or Illinois in general. Any success stories finding properties worth investing in. I live here but this is not my first choice for purchasing and investing in real estate because of the expensive taxes. Let me know if you think Chicago is a good market for investors
