@Dhaval Taylor

Depends on the location!

For instance, I’m going to Maui In March and booked at Ritz Carlton because I want to be pampered.

When I’m going to the mountain, I book a cabin Airbnb because it provides me the right atmosphere.

If I’m traveling to a city, then I also tend to book at Airbnb because I’m usually down for more adventure not so much lounging around to be pampered.

At Airbnb’s, I do expect all amenities to be available and comparable to good hotels these days.

Sorry yeah you’re in IN, not TN!

Thank you for the response. I’ll keep researching!

Yeah true. I’ve been doing loans for 20 years now and I was just puzzled and wanted to help you lol.
now that I see you’re in TN, I’ve been thinking about buying a stvr in Gatlinburg. What are your thoughts?

I see. That’s the reason. You’re commissioned. Makes sense now

@Jeff Purl

I think it’s always cool to mix vintage with the new. I just furnished my remodeled vintage cabin with vintage finds from antique stores to furniture and mattresses from Wayfair, West Elm, Target, Bed Bath and Beyond and Amazon. I learned that it could take hours of your time trying to shop online. Too many choices and things start to look the same after a while. It was a lot easier and faster to go to Target or Bed Bath to pick out linens and plates and smaller kitchen or decor items in person rather than try to shop for million small items online.

@Ashley Mccollum

Congratulations!

Originally from Los Angeles and currently in Oregon, I’ve been looking at properties in warm beautiful Hawaii and wondering how I can buy an investment property there where I can use personally but also cash flow as a STVR. I need some sunshine again 😆

What are your thoughts?

@Keith W.

It may seem invasive and unnecessary but the way the banks look at it, you have ownership in this llc that’s holding the property. If you’re reporting a income or loss from this llc, they must know about it and fully document it.

It’s just standard underwriting practice. Nothing personal. Unfortunately if you want a loan, it’s something that you can’t avoid. 😬

@Veronica Brown

Do you have any contractor recommendations? I had hell of a time renovating my cabin. Hoping to find some better crew for the next one (if I can muster up courage to do it again!)

@Nicholas Earls

I’m confused. You’re a w2 income earner and earning more than you did before as a 1099 worker. In the same industry, I assume. What is the issue with the lender? Trying to help but not getting a clear picture. Thanks!
