As long as you're approved for a permit that shouldn't be an issue. Check their website for more details.

@Mikko Allen Lucernas the City of Las Vegas doesn't allow non-owner occupied STRs which should be your goal. You can do this in North Las Vegas which is where I would recommend searching for properties. Here's a great article that breaks down each jurisdiction's rules around STRs

Your first step is to see if the landlord will allow you to Airbnb. Most don't, so that's usually the hardest step. If you do get approved, then my suggestion would be to put the cash flow you make in the summer months as reserves for the winter months. Most if not all Airbnbs are seasonal by nature, so as long as you prepare in advance you'll be just fine.

Good luck and DM me if you have any other questions!

@Shane R Williamson use Airdna and Rabbu. You don't need to manually check rates and occupancy for every single listing on Airbnb, that's what these tools do for you. What you should do is study the top-producing rentals in the area to see what separates them. Do they have a killer location? What amenities do they offer? What do the reviews say they're missing? How can you be different without breaking the bank?

Good luck on your search!

@Ronnie Ho one thing that hasn't been mentioned is that you should invest in Kissimmee, not Orlando. Orlando doesn't allow non-owner occupied STRs like Kissimmee does. Good luck with your upcoming purchase!

@Adrian Zielinski some HOAs probably do allow for Airbnb, so either ask your realtor to do some more digging or find a new one!

@Jon Miller check out Airdna and Rabbu to see data on the NH market by a specific address. Also make sure STRs are legal with a quick google search (campton NH airbnb short term rental laws). If you end up acquiring a property and going the self-managing route, happy to pass along more info. Good luck!
