This week we will have our monthly meetup of BiggerPockets fans and interested RE investors.  We'll be addressing zoning:  Common mistakes, where to find information about zoning, and how cities handle enforcement.  Click here to join via Zoom.

Just about all of them will allow you to do commercial too, but the question is what kind of support you'll get since most don't have much experience. Typically if you'll focus primarily on residential then don't do a commercial only brokerage (MLS, realtor stuff, etc). Keller Williams has a small commercial group. We do commercial management in addition to residential, and there are a couple others I've seen. It's very casual though for most brokerages. In our case, we manage commercial but partner with a commercial brokerage to do actual buying and selling. Now if you're talking multifamily, then we do that all the time. Commercial can be business OR multifamily. Happy to do a call any time if you'd like.
