I am trying to figure out the best way to get started but have little cash. I have alot of equity in personal home and one investor who also has some cash. Any recommendations on the best way to proceed other that finding other investors. I was thinking that if able to flip one or two properties then take to bank in hope for a line of equity. Any thoughts?

Thanks for your help. I am looking for a book on flipping homes in Florida. Those books talk more about the standard real estate transaction. There are general books written on flipping homes, or buying foreclosures but nothing that is focused just on Florida. I know the general info and wanted to see if there was more out there on just Florida. I need to take the step and just start working towards buying something.

I am trying to figure out the best way to obtain a property. I figure that you need about 10 different ways to get a property. I just want to make sure that my first deal is a good one so I can expand rather than fizzle after one move.

Thanks again for your input and advice, I do greaty appreciate it.

My interest is peaking because I have been talking about doing this for too long now and I want to get out on my own and make money. I enjoy the real estate game and have had success in personal transactions in the past but now I want to take the next step so I am trying to figure everything out.

My only real esate closing experience is a buyer or seller. I have many friends who do the closings as lawyers.

I am probably around a 7, I am a practicing attorney so it is in my nature to research extensively. I do not practice in real estate so I am unfamiliar with real estate law, other than just the general knowledge. I wanted to find a book that was specific to Florida since I know that every state has different laws and practices.

Hello, I have just discovered this website and it appears to have tons of information. I am just starting off in the property investment world and I have been researching all the different ways to obtain property for cheap, ie tax liens, foreclosures, REOs, etc. However, I was wondering if anyone knew of any books on this area specific to Florida? Also, any additional information or words of advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
