I'm looking for a new loan servicing software package. Does anyone have tips for where to begin my search? I need something that is user friendly and can handle upwards of 1000 notes at multiple locations.

Google "business plan template" or "sample business plan" you'll get a lot of good free information if you keep digging.

If the plan is for your own use, and not to present to an investor or bank, then you can begin with Jason's questions above.

Definitely use a pencil.

That was great! I loved it.

FYI - I am a member here but not really a "regular". I'm also a full time RE investor. I'll show the video to friends just because I think it's hilarious, so as a marketing tool it worked on me.

Thanks, the title company was very helpful and I had a lawyer here call a contact there to make sure. Everything worked out fine.

Still, it's a weird system.

Even though I am just giving the owner a partial release, the title company is telling me that they need the original note and Deed of Trust so that the Public Trustee will file the partial release.

This sounds crazy but I've never been in this position before. Does anyone have experience with this?

Thanks in advance.

We stopped here on a cruise and some of the crew members recommended a place called the blue hole. It was very cool place to swim with waterfalls and a couple of local guys "guided" us up the river about 400 yds and showed us all the cool spots. No one else was there. It was probably one of the best vacation experiences ever for me.

Are you single? Maternity is a huge part of the cost for married folks.

I'm just a country boy from Texas and I used to love camping. As our business has grown my wife finally let me know that sleeping on the ground was not going to be a part of her future.

I enjoyed the two cruises we've taken but some folks hate them.

I prefer the fly by the seat of my pants type of vacation. Just go somewhere and rent a car and do whatever you feel like. I've done these across the US and once in Costa Rica.

I don't do that well with preplanned tourist stuff like Disney World. I've done it for the kids but I don't love it.

Thanks for the info guys. I have one more question. How much does a mortgage broker have to raise the rate to make one point on the YSP?

Thanks for the reply. I ask because I have been sending all of my business (maybe 7 deals per month) to one mortgage company. I've been very happy with their service then I recently realized that my customers (and me too if I'm paying their closing costs) are getting killed on fees. Sometimes they are charging up to 4.5%.

I'm really pissed at myself for not catching this before.
