Hello Everyone,

I will be closing on my 1st investment property (a duplex) next month in Attleboro, MA and I am looking for a property management company to manage it. What companies do you recommend who service this area?

Thank you

@Jessica Lascase welcome to the multifamily investment world, have you thought about syndication at all? It is a great way to enter a market that one may not be able to also opens up possibilities of investing in bigger projects. From my experience in Mass, Attleboro and Brockton are good starters to look at. Good luck!

Hi William,

No never heard about syndication. I will definitely look into it. Thank you so much!

N/Attleboro and that general area are great towns to invest in and a few place where the home actually still passes the self sufficiency test for FHA financing. You can also explore Worcester going more west but the closer you get to Boston the higher the price will be and would not work out to the economics you're hoping for.

Thank you! We've been in S. Attleboro for 3 years now and we love the area. North Attleboro is also nice. Wouldn't mind staying around here.

Hi Jessica, I live on the south shore in the Boston area. When I was looking for small multi's in the area, I found Attleboro and Brockton to be better than other areas in terms of finding a property that can make some cash flow. You can also find some further south like middleboro. Areas in Springfield and Western MA are good too but too far for what you mentioned.  You may want to consider passive investing in deals that are located in areas of the country that are better for cashflow and live where you want.  As some people say, "Live where you want, invest where it makes sense"

Thank you for this guidance. I have thought about investing other places in the country. Just need to do my research.

Hi everyone!

I currently live in Attleboro, MA (bought a 2BR condo in 2019) and was curious about how to find the best markets to invest in as a newbie here in MA. My plan is to occupy the property as well so I am looking for good cash flow. I would like to invest an 1hr or less from where I am currently located due to my job. Is Attleboro a good market for multi properties?

I recently finished paying off all my debt (except for the condo) and would love to start investing in real state to decrease my housing expenses, create some passive income, and acquire generational wealth. I am currently saving but have a goal to get my first property by 2022. Would love any advice or guidance on how to start on this journey.

Thanks,

Jessica
