Quote from @Dan Cioaca:

A quick google search reveals that they're a high-interest hard money lender with a ton of dissatisfied customers and reviews. As always, DYOR:

I also heard some questionable things about them at first and I brought this up with my lender. He was very transparent with me about how to navigate any obstacles that could come up, which is exactly what we ended up having to do. I’m the kind of person that likes to know the answers to these questions before going all in, and he was extremely transparent with me, unlike anyone I’ve ever worked with. I think that my outcome and experience had everything to do with who I was working with at Lima One.

I just wanted to come one here and share my great lending experience I had with Lima One Capital. I first heard about them on the BP Podcast and it turned out that I had a friend who had a lender there that they were already using and who they said was great. I was refinancing one of my 5 unit buildings that we are currently BRRRR-ing, and in the process was able to add an additional purchase to my refi. Long story short, after working with this guy, Greg Huegel, I went from owing a ton of money at closing, to getting money back to continue rehabbing our other building. This is the first time I have ever felt like a lender had my best interest in mind. Highly recommend!! I think they were in the process of developing some new loan products for large multifamily investors too last I checked. Definitely worth a phone call if you are like me and have had to creatively finance everything because you don't meet the traditional bank requirements.
