@Jeff Cagle

Hello

I came across this thread and wanted to see if Oildale was a good place for Buy and hold homes. We want to able to purchase a home that people want to rent, I’ve heard it’s hard to find good tenants.

We have been traveling to Bakersfield to get a feel of the neighborhoods. We will be heading out again June 30th.

Thank you

Jesse Sedeno

Post: Better long term value - Seed lawn or Turf?

Hello, I used Turf on my backyard due to easy maintenance and the California drought. I have had multiple party's, friends and family love it. It cost more up front but you don't have to worry about it dying. Also, you don't need to worry about a sprinkler system. They also have "recycled/refurbished" turf that goes for cheaper but never advertise it, got to ask around. Good luck Jesse

Hello Everyone,

My name is Jesse I am from So Cal and have been watching/following BP for a while. My brother and I are saving money at the moment so we can start investing. We plan to invest in Las Vegas because we have family in the area and it's not too far from us. We would like to buy a low end home through a wholesaler, put some elbow grease into it and rent it out. Anything we can not do we will get a contractor to do. We are new to Real Estate but always willing to work and learn. At the moment we don't know any Wholesalers and what is a good ball park price to save for our first buy.

Thank you all for all your input and knowledge ahead of time
