there are plenty of flip potential in those areas, as we have done plenty around those parts and it can be very prosperous but there is added cost for securing the home if it sits vacant. the south suburbs is another area that has good potential and wont bust your budget. need anymore advice let me know

nobody likes to purchase an over valued property no matter what area. that 15k extra comes out of your pocket at closing. In your situation look at it as you bought a stock on the high end. price goes up and down but in the long run how you fare out, time will only tell.

they are basically the same headaches as any other multi family housing units. the worth is the ROI you would be receiving after re-hab. I have bought and fixed up hundreds of units on the South side of Chicago some have no problems and some have problems but there is no shortage of renters. you just may have to set aside a little more reserves just in case.

because of the regulations here in the US it is not going to be an easy find for a institutional lender without an established relationship. what type of properties are you buying and in what condition and where in the US?

is it an investment deal or primary residence
