Wish I could be of more help, but if you don't get anyone in a decent amount of time, maybe try adding Durham, NC or Greensboro, NC to your post as those are the larger markets and you might have better luck with those keywords

@Taylor L. I also attended, and your summary is pretty accurate, you did leave out one big thing...S-N Double O, P D-O-Double G performed! Like most people here I would have liked to have seen more on the REI topic but I guess that's why he had his 2 day follow up conference right after it focused entirely on that. Knowledge for next year. Did anyone here attend that two day REI course?

In addition to what everyone else has given for advice, especially the house hacking, I would add that if possible you choose your traveling rotations to preferable markets if possible.
