Hello BP community,

I am looking for a local real estate agent that is familiar with the South Holland, Il market (and surrounding areas). We are looking to purchase a number of SFHs in the area for buy and hold rentals. I would prefer an agent that has worked with investors before and is familiar with the rental market in the area.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. The more work the property needs, the closer it should be.

Hello fellow BP users! I found BP a few months ago and have been reading your posts daily. Now I finally opened up an account. I am from Chicago's south side (Evergreen Park / Oak Lawn area). I am an entrepreneur and CEO of a landscape contracting company for 12 years and a Purdue business grad (2010). Interested solely in buy and hold positions of cash flowing properties.

Looking for properties in Chicago's south side (City and burbs), NWI and the Indianapolis area (since I am new, I want to stick with areas I am familiar with and travel to often.) Definitely do not mind a property that needs work, but not looking to flip. Been reading a lot about the BRRR method and that sounds like the direction I am looking to go.
