@Adam Schneider did you used to go "downstairs" at Abner's?? The BEST of West Philly. I'm a big fan of Steve's Prince of Steaks -- their original location was around the corner from me when I was a kid.

@Adam Schneider Isn't there anywhere "good" to get them down there? If not, maybe we have a market opportunity...traveling through TSA Snack Check (https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/trafficandcom...) or the 6 hour drive doesn't really do good for the authentic cheese steaks.

@Dawn Brenengen thanks! Are you originally from the area or did you choose Raleigh? What areas are you seeing as smart investments for buy and hold?

Thanks @Yung Hung. Where in the Triangle do you think shows the most promising outlook? I hear good things around SE Raleigh and down near Chavis Heights but is it too hyped? At this point I just want some steady SFD thru probably a triplex to cash flow until I get my feet on the ground.

@Brandon McLean I haven’t quite settled, exploring several options. Do you have any recommendations? FYI this is my 2nd career already at 31 and one I plan to be in for the long haul. I am a full-time Realtor in Philadelphia that's picking it all up (except my 2 Philly SFD investment properties) and am moving to Raleigh, NC at the end of September. While continuing to work in Philly, I'll also be starting as a Broker in Raleigh and looking to grow my investment portfolio.
