Thank you so much for posting this. So glad you are breaking even after the "lessons"...I read a lot as well but nothing like real life to show you what you don't know. I am saving this post if you don't mind as a reminder to be super careful and do things "right the first time." Best of luck with future ventures, J

Thank you all very much, finally back online. I have reached my goal as stated so it's time to start looking at deals. YAYYY. Hope to help more people as I grow on this great site.

@Mj Mckinley, Sir, I totally get your aggressive attitude as my Granddad has had apartments my whole life. I have also wanted to get into real estate and have FINALLY saved up 50k in cash. I, like you have been reading and watching everything for 6 months now. Due to the fact that I do not actually have any real deals YET; I would only impart this: "Provide value", if not cold hard cash, then like others say, get out and bust your *** for someone who is in the play.  I am deployed right now so I know my only value is a little bit of real cash to drop. Otherwise I am just someone with my hand out wanting help for nothing. I wish you the best, but for now; Pay off bills, improve job, and learn. Grant Cardone pushes this hard. Respect...J

Ayodeji, Thank you for the wisdom. I just purchased some books from here, don't laugh...new at this. I will do my best to listen and learn from all you pros. I think for now I would like to stick with, "buy and hold" for rental income. I have a 15 yr goal to retire at the moment. I have deployed to enough war zones already...haha. Thanks again, Jeremy

Andrew, thank you very much for the ideas. I want to make sure I go slow and learn as mistakes are painful at this age. I am definitely interested in multi family for myself and tenants. Thanks again, Jeremy

I am deployed right now but doing my best to learn and save my pennies. I would ask the veterans out there, is 50k cash enough to make a good start with? Thank you all and hope to grow and be an asset in the future. Jeremy
