Awesome advice @Joel Owens. Having a business plan is one of my priorities. I have heard countless stories of agents implementing and then there business exploding.  My goal is to install systems for everything I do from the start, and model my systems after others. I am dedicated to succeed and plan on being in this industry for the long run. I have no doubt I will push through the early rookie stages.

I am so glad you showed me that book @Logan Freeman. It has been such a great resource so far for me. I love the branding advice. I feel building my brand and reputation will be everything. Thanks for the book and advice!

Thanks @Lien Voung ! I have taken that advice and will be attending two local REIAS this month. I understand networking is key. I really appreciate it!

@Russell Brazil I would love your input on my question to @jake undefined also.

Thanks @Jake Fugman, I plan on investing as soon and as much as opportunity's present themselves. Is it reasonable to consider myself an investor first, over a real estate agent? Can they commingle comfortably? Is there any advice for someone like me who is planning on doing both, but at the same time has not done anything in real estate yet?

Thanks @Russell Brazil, I plan on doing both. Relatively soon I will be BRRRR/Househacking a triplex. And plan on investing as much as possible. That is great advice :)

I am moving to Tyler in July and I am sure to be attending! Looking forward to it!

Thanks Dan! Appreciate the advice.

Hi there! I just turned 19 only a month ago, and am just about to wrap up getting my real estate license in Texas. I want to establish myself in the niche of working with investors. I love real estate and am very hungry to succeed. I would appreciate any advice anyone might have for a young real estate agent like me working with investors. Thanks :) !

Failure is not going to be an option for me.

Should I be speaking with local lenders, or maybe online?
