George Smith welcome to BP!

As a somewhat newer resident to Raleigh, I agree with what everyone has said about the area. I moved here from San Diego because I could not find anywhere that had a better balance of: cost of living, population growth, diversified economy, employment, some higher rates school districts and proximity to the ocean and the mountains. Although I will be moving back to San Diego, it is for personal reasons. So far I have met great, friendly people and will be Pursuing my investing here. I hope you find it as enjoyable as the rest of us and good luck in your investing journey.

Jonathan Smith other then the podcasts and forums, I just started the BP ultimate beginners guide. I plan on picking up some of the Gary keller books next Michael Macklin and Brian Corbett thanks for the recommendation. I will check it out. Adam Schneider I might be interested in the rocky mount group. I definitely would like to focus more on the raleigh area but I wouldn't be opposed to other opportunities as well. Mark Nolan the podcasts have been great. I have been trying to work my way through all of them. I noticed you are in carlsbad. I moved from San Diego about 2 1/2 yeas ago and considering moving back in the upcoming year. But I like the Raleigh area for my investing.

Hello bigger pockets! I am a new member living in Clayton, just outside of raleigh. Currently listening to podcasts and reading all that I can until I am ready to make the jump into investing. I am interested in fix and flip but would like to focus primarily on buy and hold. I'm looking for some local meet ups so i can start networking and to learn some deal analysis.
