@Jamison Colston, Hey there are a number of resources available to teach your friend about what affects credit and how to increase her credit. Credit Karma though it is one of the most simple resources is a great way to start.

1. Learn what caused the credit to drop and begin attacking that!

2.Settle on delinquent accts, you probably won't have to pay full debt but make sure they provide notification of payment in full to all 3 major credit bureaus

3.Get your credit card usage down to 30%

@Stephen Quesinberry great write up it was very encouraging to me as a new investor working to clearly understand the business and find my first few deals.

@Derek Curtis congrats on your new start I am looking forward to some success stories from you as well! 

I am a new investor and I am currently working with mentors to do my first wholesale deal. I would love to hear from some of the more seasoned investors on how they over came fear and executed their first investment. I am looking to start off in real estate whole sale as my finances are currently limited.
