Can anyone recommend a property manager that they have used in CHS? We have a townhouse near Sullivan’s island and looking to put it under management as a long term rental. Thanks in advance!

I hear you @Soh Tanaka, mindset shift is always a process.  I like to think about it in terms of tangible things I can do, action I can take to retrain my brain and ultimately change or grow my mindset.

@Sourabh Bora, sure, a du-, tri-, or quad-, plex or any multi-family housing is typically "attached". As opposed to single family homes, attached units share a wall.

@Kyle Kovats, we purchased the SDA and I really like it. We still check against our own hand calculations and spreadsheets if the deal requires us to be a little more creative but I think it's well worth the money and the mastermind thread on Slack is very active.

Kyle Kovats I’ll have to check out the podcast you mentioned. I wish I could make the Converge event but our partners are coming to CO that week. I agree with Jeff Greenberg , the best opportunities come from meeting likeminded investors that compliment your skill set. Apart from that, I have enjoyed Michael Blanks material.

@Mary Ann Casey, sorry to hear about your situation.  I am wondering the same thing, what was the screening process like for these tenants? I wouldn't take your PM's word on pursuing legal action unless they have an in house attorney you can talk to. I would find an IN attorney to get a straight answer about pursuing legal action.

@Eric DeVito, congrats on getting close to your first purchase! Any reason you want to manage the property as opposed to hiring a professional?

@Mark Gabriel, I can second what Antoine said about the Memphis market, around 1% is right.
