Thanks for your comment.  I am learning and didn’t even think about an inspection for this situation.  I will next time.  This experience will help me make better decisions in the future.  I am moving ahead, planning an exit strategy based on budget.  I appreciate your insight.

We did buy sight unseen.  The price was right, so we took a risk but It might not pan out.

My partner and I just bought a 1930s shotgun style house in Sherman, TX.  It’s pier and beam foundation is in bad shape.  We are currently looking for a company to repair it.  Any advice?   We are not even sure what or how to budget for this as it was a sight unseen buy.  What is a good price on something like this?   The house is only 960 soft.  

I am worried we will be over budget.
