@Blaine Alger Thats really great advice!! I will definitely do that! I’m up at 4am so 6am is nothing for me (lucky me lol). But seriously, I love that idea and I’ll definitely try it out! Thank you!!

@Tanner Ueland Thank you for the advice! I definitely see what you're saying about avoiding the grey area with contractors. I could see how that could pose a number of issues, actually. I'll be sure to write a very clear prior to talking with any. Thank you so much again!

@Brad Hammond Thank you so much; I love that advice! I definitely will try the piece about asking what corners we could potentially cut on a project. Like you said, I think that will give me a lot of insight! Thanks again!

Hi Everyone!

I'm a beginner here, in the process of securing my first flip. I am wondering if anyone has advice on how to find a good contractor in your area, what kinds of questions you like to ask to make sure they are knowledgeable but not overpriced, what kinds of things might steer you away from one vs another, etc. Like I said, this will be my first property, so ideally I'd like to build a relationship with whoever it is so they can help me on future properties as well.

Any, and all, advice is warmly welcomed!

Thanks everyone!
