Buy and Hold aspect of Real Estate. I here flipping can really be a lot of work. Thank you for replying, Dawn. At first, it is kind of intimidating not knowing the full understanding of real estate. i am trying to learn as much as i can to get started.

My recommendation would be to listen to the podcasts every day. Start at #1 and work your way up. You'll learn a ton! At the end of each podcast, there is a final 4 where the co-hosts Josh and Brandon ask what the guests favorite real estate and business books are. Write these down as you hear them and start reading. Continue to interact in the forums and you'll have a wealth of knowledge in no time.

Thanks Craig!!!!!!! I will do that for sure. Just transitioning to something new and different is the challenge mentally because I've been saving for quite a while and it is kind of all i know. I want to get out of that "all i know" mindset and soak in as much information as i can with real estate. I will dive into the podcasts for sure.

Hello, BiggerPockets Family!! My name is jeff and I was just recently introduced to this site. I am trying to gain the knowledge to learn the basics and grind of the real estate market and become a real estate agent. I'm currently enlisted in the military but I am trying to push towards a career that I'm more interested in pursuing. How do you start? What are the first steps? What were some speed bumps you encountered to become successful? Thank you all for sharing information. Love that I'm able to network with likeminded individuals with the same goal. - Jeff
