That's a great question that I've also been thinking as a newbie. @Darlynn Bailey

I'm sure an Excel spreadsheet program is somewhere in the mix. I'm curious to know!

Hey Mike, a house hack of a duplex is my exact plan! I was listening to one of the podcast and in fact Brandon did mention it and it gave me the idea. I'm going to shoot for it!

 Hey Steph! That's awesome good news on your duplex. I plan to purchase and "house hack" a duplex for my first investment. You have any tips on duplex's you would like to share?

 Hey Harry! I took a online course through Kalamazoo Public website. The course was called " Real Estate investing 101" basically a course for beginners to understand real estate a little bit more in depth. wholesaling, financing, analyzing properties, tips on options you can use in selling or purchasing ect ect.  It really gave me a better understanding. I'm glad that i took it. Hows your course going?

@Micheal Lerch

The house hacking of the duplex is exactly my plan for my first investment. And then hold it for future income.

Hey Seth! i had planned when i purchase my first multifamily to do the lawn care myself. Just so i could be in control of how the lawn looks and when its regularly taken care of. But I also had this question on if i should or not..

Hello, my fellow BP members!

I've been a BP member a few months now, after learning about it from a real estate investment course i completed. I'm now browsing the site taking the time to use its great resources.  I've listening to a few of the latest pod-casts and i enjoy the guests members that are featured on it. The interview give me hope and motivation to want to start my investment adventures.

I'm currently living in Kalamazoo, MI and as of this instant i do not own any investment properties. I'm contemplating on my first property whether i want to try a single family home or duplex to rehab for a buy-and-hold rental property. I want to accomplish some flipping deals as well. Hopefully that will be my next move after my first if the opportunity presents itself.

Looking forward to the future!
