Do you have an architect yet? I work for a small firm that has experience with spec homes. We are currently doing two of them. PM me if you would like to talk.
Jeff Lewis is actually a really brilliant guy. I did a five page report and 15 min power pint presentation on him for an interior design class last semester. I chose him because I thought it would be a fun project and it ended up changing my perspective on owning real estate and being a designer.

Hey San Diego investors,

Last week I took my first (baby) steps into the REI world by asking folks how to run down a couple of leads I have. I'm really appreciate the reply's I received, especially those who went out of their way to track down some very helpful information on those properties for me. I'm working those leads and hopefully I can make something happen. In the meantime I would like to find a seasoned investor to do some "Bird Dogging" for. If any of you could use a hand please PM me so we can talk.

Thanks

Jeff

Thanks for the information Colin and Troy. If I were able to acquire either of them I would need someone to help me do something with it. I'll PM you later today Troy.

Thanks

Hey my fellow San Diegans,

There are two properties on my street that have been sitting vacant for quite a while now and I really think they have potential. Would any of you experienced investors in my area be interested in hearing about them? I am in the North Park area. One house is basically a duplex partially renovated and possibly in foreclosure, the other is a single family rehab. I walk my dog past these houses everyday and it's killing me to see them sitting and waiting for some attention.

Thanks!

Thanks Brock I appreciate the information. We plan to attend the FIBI meetup in Del Mar next month. I'll google the other groups you mentioned. We look forward to meeting you sometime.

Thanks Michael,

It's great to hear from an investor from Manila. My husband is from the PI and has taken me there twice, I love going. We have some friends here in san diego that have invested in the green belt. We are thinking about doing the same. What areas do you invest in?

Hi everyone,

My name is Jeff I'm new to real estate investing. I'm just beginning to educate myself by listening to Podcasts (BP of course), attending investor Meetups, and using the vast wealth of information here. I haven't done any deals and am a renter so I really have 0 experience. I am a professional freelance Architectural/ Interior Design drafter with 15yrs of CD, presentation imaging, and 3D modeling experience. I am about to finish an associates in Architecture and considering an interiors degree w/ focus on Kitchen and Bath design. Also looking into getting a real estate license. My WHY is for the freedom, fun and excitement of designing fix and flips, and doing rehabs. I also like the possibility of long term passive income of rentals. So, that's pretty much me! My husband and I look forward to meeting any and every investor here in the San Diego area (and elsewhere of course).

Thanks

Jeff Hodapp

Hello Try San Diego Investment Club- FIBI. You can find them on MeetUp. They have meetings every month. I haven't been yet but I plan to attend in February. Like you I'm taking my first steps of my real estate investment journey. Good Luck!
