Currently house hacking. Tenants lease is up in January 2025. But as of now am genuinely curious if they will renew or what their plans are for future. Is it bad taste to ask so early or am I just inside my head? Thanks everyone.

I have a leak in my house and need to repair my kitchen. Do you guys think it’s a good idea too decrease the rent for tenant  by about 200-300$ for the inconvenience of not getting what they signed a lease for ?

Hey guys curious, is it smart to open an llc and rent a room out on my own property just for the tax benefits ?

Thanks everyone for the response. I agree with your statement that I might not need a software until I have a lot of properties per say. But mostly I wanted someplace or site where I can have all the information streamlined. For example I can find the rental application , background check and lease all in one place.

Does any one have any recommended platforms they use for all things landlord. For example a platform where i can, screen tenant, prepare lease agreement all in one ?

Hey guys so..

I have been planning to get into real estate for a long while now and will pull the trigger by august. As august I will have funds required.

I currently rent here in SoCal . Very very expensive City to buy in and my plan was to get into real estate investing while continuing to rent here in So cal and purchase out of state property.

Many people that here my Plan tell me that I should buy my first property for myself first then look outward. But I want to continue to rent while buying my first property to use as passive income.

What do you think?

Hey guys I’m new to Investing and after crunching the numbers it looks like I’ll be ready to buy my 1st rental property investment by the end of the year. I have no specific location in mind so Without any bias, I’m curious to know what everyone thinks through their experience  is the best state/city to invest in right now. Taking all considerations into play
