I will be doing some of the work myself ( I am a licensed builder ) but due to time constraints a good amount will be contracted out. Especially hvac plumbing electrical.

So I put in an offer on my first property and the bank accepted it. It's in a low income city ( inkster mi ) and I'm probably gonna rent it out . I'm excited to finally "dive in" and felt this was a nice house to start with. It's a 3 bed 1 bath on a slab, very solid and needs mostly cosmetic upgrades, but I plan on gutting the entire bathroom, and doing a lot of improvements in the kitchen. Anyways just had to post, been reading as much as I can and I'm very excited!

I really enjoyed the meeting last night, felt like I jumped in the deep end with no life vest. Very informative, I have A LOT of reading and studying to do, but schedule allowing I definitely plan to attend next month also.

Richard Harris I don't know if my schedule will allow it but I will try to make it, I would like to meet some local guys/gals to pick their brain even though I don't plan on making any purchases until next spring. Gotta get my ducks in a row.
