Thanks neighbor @Jo-Ann Lapin!

Looking forward to work with you in the future =))

Hi guys, new guy here. I live in Tustin Ranch and would like to join the meet on the 20th if there's still room. =)

Thanks @Chris E.!

@Ned Carey, I just subscribed to Real Estate Agent Forums. Thanks!

@David Faulkner, you're right, my purchase of the townhouse back in 2003 (rented out in 2012) and the SFR in 2012 are one of the factors that motivated me to finally enter real estate business. My initial and minimum goal when I enrolled to take my state license was to save fees by being my own agent in future dealings. Then I realize that there's much more that I can do in real estate.

As much as I love my job right now as an IT professional, I think real estate will be my present and future passion. It's an exciting part of my career with me entering the RE business. My immediate plan is to join a brokerage and see where it brings me to. RE investing (flipping house, BRRRR strat, income property etc) is all about timing and finding the right deals. I'm open to investing opportunities as it comes.

My IT exit strategy? We'll see what the present and future hold for me in RE. I'm very optimistic entering this RE biz. For now, I'll try to balance my current job and RE biz. Let's keep in touch =))

@Polar Prutaseranee, good to see people with the same interests in the same area. I'll definitely check with you when the need arises. Thanks!

Welcome to Bigger Pockets. It is a good place to connect with real estate professionals and to learn about real estate. For example, you set up key word alerts. http://www.biggerpockets.com/alerts

Thanks Mark! BP community is awesome! Really glad I found this site.

Thanks Orlando! Yes I did set up the alerts and yes it's very efficient I had to refine else my inbox get flooded. BP community is indeed very active! =))

Hello BP community! I've been a member since February and I've been reading through the wealth of information here at BP as well as listening to BP podcasts as much as I can.

I just passed my state exam and waiting for my real estate license.

My background is in the IT industry and I work full time as a senior analyst/developer for DIRECTV (now AT&T).

I have a 3BR SFR in Tustin, CA and a 2BR rental townhouse in Irvine, CA. I've been doing property management for my Irvine townhouse since 2012.

My immediate goal now is to get started as a real estate agent part time here in Orange County/Los Angeles County. Meet and network with the experts here at BP and in the RE business. Look into real estate investing (I'm open to buy and hold, flipping houses, BRRRR strategy, buy income property, syndication).
