Hello everyone,

So I found my first FSBO! I'm very nervous and not sure where to start. I have called the number and spoke to a lady who is representing the owner. He lives overseas and is very motivated to sell. In fact the property is not on the MLS yet and she told me that she wanted to put a sign first and see the kind of response and would prefer to sell without going thru the traditional way ie getting an agent etc...

I would appreciate all the help, advice and info anyone has to share!

Hello BP community! I'm gonna go straight to the point and say that I believe that the only way to know is by asking and the best way to learn is by doing.

I am looking for a seasoned investor in the Pasadena, CA. area who would be willing to let me shadow him or her for a couple a days a week. Some sort of an internship if you want to call it that way. I am very resourceful,quick on my feet and very eager to learn. Of course I am not looking for any kind of compensation since knowledge is all I thirst for!

Thank you @Aaron Cunningham, getting licensed is something else I am working on as well. I wanted to include the investing aspect to increase my chances of creating more wealth.

Hello everyone,

It has come to this. I have read articles, books, watched videos about Investing and now I'm a little overwhelmed. I have also attended a free meeting with real estate investors and it was very informative. Everything leads me to wanting to start with wholesaling. Just to get my feet wet and to gain experience with the whole investing opportunities. Can anyone suggest which way I should go in order to really start my career in real estate investing? Any comments or suggestions are very welcome!
