@Melissa Nash,

That is great information, thank you.

I like Montgomery too, I think it has great potential. However, just to make sure that I invest in the right market, I like to check it everyday and see how quick the rental properties are being rented out. What I've noticed for the last year is that properties can be offered for more than a month or two and that's what makes me think if the offer is way higher than the demand. Hopefully is not but I haven't compared it to other markets and see if they are in the same boat.

I was not aware that Amazon will open a distribution center so that is a good sign I guess.

Thank you so much Melissa.

Best,

JC

Hellos BP friends,

What are your thoughts about the Montgomery, AL market? Considering that the population has been decreasing since 2011, do you think the market is getting saturated of rental properties and the time the properties are vacant is extending?

Thank you all and looking forward to start the discussion.

JC

What are you looking for?  1) price range = Less than $100K 2) rent range = More than $850 3) cap rate = Depends 4) section 8 = No 5) SF or MF = Single Family

Hi everyone,

Hope you all are doing good.

I am interested in exploring the Alabama market for buying investment properties and I was wondering if anyone knows an investor-friendly real estate agent?

Thanks

Hi Johnson,

Hope you enjoyed your weekend. Yes, I did get the help from your sales team. I actually made a couple of offers through Roofstock but no luck yet. However, I am still trying. There are a few items that I have tried to clarify through the Roofstock chat but I received no answer. Is ok though as they were simple questions.

Anyways, thanks for touching base with me Johnson, I really appreciate it but I appreciate more that you told me about Roofstock. Is a great website.

If you don't mind me asking, any particular market you have selected for your first SFR? I am looking in Memphis and Alabama.

Hello everyone,

Are any of you familiarized with the area: Dearborn Heights in MI? I am in the process of making an offer for a property in this area but before doing it, I would like to check if any of you have some valuable information about the area. Any information will be greatly appreciated.

In advance, THANK YOU so much for your time and help.

Hi Kathy,

Hope this email finds you well. Did you invest in Gary, IN? I have seen a property there that I am interested but I am not sure if it is worth it.

Your help will be appreciated.

Thank you.
