Talk to as many people as possible regarding real estate; people in the know actually doing it: investing, rehabbing, purchasing, financing etc. Depends on what you want to do exactly. Start saving as well and spend every free minute you have on MLS or even realtor.com and Zillow if you don't have access and start learning, seeing what the market has to offer. Best of luck! It's fun and a great learning experience.

$2,400 is crazy money. I am paying anywhere from 500 to 750 and that's for duplexes and larger multifamilies.

It is difficult finding rentals right now and I have been thinking about possibly doing a BRRRR but if I'm being honest I'm scared. Let me know if you would be at all interested in arranging a phone call. I also have a fantastic banker that I feel fairly certain can help you out. he is with Senora Bank in Boerne. They do portfolio loans and have really made a huge difference in my business. Let me know if I can help.

Sonora* if you are talking about First National Bank of Sonora.

Good morning,

Would greatly appreciate any reliable, fair, and trustworthy plumber recommendations. Have two rehabs for them? My current plumber is backed up and stuck on some other jobs.

Thank you!
