I have had a Bakersfield rental for over 7 years and I am now in the 3rd peroperty management company. The second property company was ok but at the end of last year they abruptly sent me notice that thethere was going to be a new one starting the following moth. Less than a 30 day noticed ... . Has anyone found any decent single family property managers that manage in Oildale?

Thanks for the response! Yes I'm interested in Puerto Rico (PR) and meeting people investing there. I spent the first half of my childhood there and the other in Florida. PR is one of the few places that properties pencil out and that I would be interested in traveling to. But other factors that people have mentioned in other threads or that I have heard from people there are concerns.

What type of rentals do you have out there?

My goal for this year is to buy my second investment property in Bakersfield or within 3 hours of LA. That being said I'm starting to look for other markets since the numbers are just not looking as attractive as before.

How many people have we been averaging and how many are from Cypress or Orange? The library in Orange has small rooms available for $30-35/hr. Cypress has a small room available for $35-50/hr with a  3 hr minimum. Rates are dependent on make up of attendees, that is why I'm asking.
