@Michael Moreno

According to your fact set you are running a deficit right now burning cash/depleting your reserves even before making the additional principal payment.

You have to make your own decisions but paying down a mortgage while borrowing to buy furniture is usually not optimal.

Impressive that you are working hard and planning keep at it you have the biggest asset right now with time on your side.

@Nicole Elianna

You have a really valuable skill set in building a business.  I know this is BP but if you can run a business that well and grow revenue consistently; I would think about scaling your service biz to provide the freedom you and your spouse desire.

@Marc Sinnott

Yes, we do exist definitely the minority but you will find what you are looking for.  The effort required for a client like yourself is true deep work that traditional advisors won't touch.  The industry is changing slowly and compliance is a drag for sure.

Probably not and if you do be careful with product selection.  You already tackled the major contributors but overkill is ok if it makes you feel more comfortable.

"There's no asset so good that it can't be overpriced and become a bad investment, and very few assets are so bad they can't be underpriced and be a good investment."  -Howard Marks

Tough to buy anything if you don't make offers.... Good luck with your decisions!
