Hi Erin!!

I'm ready to crush it as well in 2019! I'm a complete newbie to REI and eager to learn from an experienced mentor. I don't come empty handed though and I've been looking for a team to join and build something with. I'm dedicated to making RE work for me as I am convinced that it is a tool that will help reach my goals in life - financial freedom, more time with my family, more flexibility to care for my aging parents and travelling.

I have and can offer my skills and talents, if interested. Some highlights include:

• Multiple degrees - I recently completed a dual Masters program focused on Business Leadership and Dispute Resolution

•Professional property management experience

•Detailed oriented

•Trained Mediator with experience in Landlord-Tenant, Neighbor-Neighbor, Small Business disputes

• 5 years of Project Management experience

Please feel free to connect with me to see if an opportunity exists to work together!

Hi Everyone!

Super green newbie here and feeling out the LA County market for my next (first) investment opportunity. I came across this article (https://www.cnbc.com/2018/10/31/heard-the-buzz-abo...) and wondered if anyone knows anything about investing in these areas?

I'm interested in buying and holding small multi-family properties, low/no money down strategy but unable to pursue house hack options, and wondered how might I leverage one of these funds to invest in an area within one of these zones. I would like to own my own company as a full time investor in the distant future (currently employed).  I'm local and familiar with many parts of Los Angeles (born and raised) and looking for any information, experience, etc. in addition to what is provided in this article. Thanks everyone!

Keep us all posted Will on this venture. I don't own but know this area very well and am watching it closely. I'm extremely new to this and would love to hear back on anything you've championed or that challenged you in the process. I'm also keeping my eyes peeled for a small multi family in and around the Inglewood area. Thanks!

Very informative. I'm assuming you sold your home to get the 3.5% down as opposed to the required 20-25% needed for investment properties. Did you use any of the equity from your sale? Why or why not?
