So I attended one of the meetings and during the meeting, they brought up Renatus and their courses and I was like here we go again someone is trying to sell me their products. Even though they didn't force me to buy anything yet. They told me to come back for the follow-up meeting. So I am assuming that's when they will try to sell me. What I want to know is it worth signing up for their product? Anyone here has experience with Renatus? Thanks.

Yeah dude i wouldn't even bother i dont know where you're from but where im at the meetup i went to wasn't what i was expecting neither were the stories i heard one woman who was spanish looking short black hair she seem like the type that scared of anything hyperactive looking for attention top of that i heard shes into married men it was three other women who werent too kind and the guys in there seem like they were cool but was talking way too much about how they paid for the stuff i wasnt sold on it and all of this i don't have the money for so they would pitch this credit stuff on me to fund money i personally think it is a rip off . i don't recommend renatus because all of this is a pyramid scheme to me people getting rich off of other people.

Thanks guys really appreciate it its been difficult for me to find one that's real and where people know there stuff

Hi all of biggerpockets, im new to the site and new to real estate for a few months now i was curious to know if there are other meetup events in my area of Philadelphia.

As big as the city is there are a lot i assume. Recently i went to two events and didn't really buy into what they were saying. My first one i was in a basement type setting i thought i was going to be in a fancy hotel before i got there the guy i was in contact with misguided me the directions so i was already off to a bad start, then i told him what i wanted to get into and i said wholesaling and flipping but this event all they spoke about was a lot of the legal stuff and how to get loans and use other peoples money no money no credit never explained much else, so i didn't really find anything out of that. My second event i went on Craigslist to find an ad came across an ad saying Become a real estate investor earn while you learn, thought i give it a shot this guy was telling me about Renatus and great mentors they had he invited me to a meeting in south jersey on a Thursday night to watch a guy name scott rowe who has made millions of dollars off real estate education, before i went i had to research what renatus was and who these people the guy was telling me about needless to say i was skeptical about rowe and this guy name brian meara they said he does shortsales and i ask the guy who invited me what shortsale was and he said the host will tell me, sounded like he didnt know what it was either, for the most part all he said was that this was an opportunity of a life time, wasn't sold on that either so i sat there for about an hour and 20 minutes listening to scott say he was from Chicago show me picture of  his community a pie chart how to get into renatus how to pay for very expensive education how to get the money blah blah blah caught in quick that this was an mlm meetup. This sounded like bad business for me to be in after this i had to do more research and the guy that brought me to that event told me about brian meara i heard things about him he selling this hgh somaderm product another mlm crap that i also heard about going on around here that guy sounds like he bad for business too and i heard he messed around with a few women in his group while he was married such unacceptable behavior if you ask me. This definitely wasn't the place for me i would watch out for these people if anyone new thinks about being associated with renatus.

Can anyone out there tell me what truthful events associations are out there without an mlm scam and honest people?
