Hello,

I know a lot of investors are Real estate agents, as well. Is this a good route to take? Or is it not that big of an advantage to have your license?

@Linda Hastings You're right! I'm interested in single family houses. Renting, flipping, wholesaling.

I'm part of CFRI and go to those meetings. I've been to other meet ups, but I'm looking for more of a 1 on 1.

Hey Everyone, I was wondering if there is a seasoned investor in Central Florida, who is willing to meet up and talk Real Estate Investing with me? I am still trying to get my footing in this business, so I plan on asking some questions. I really just want to pick some people's brains, and get some advice on next steps. If anyone is interested, please message me. Thank you JB

Hello all, I was wondering what are positives or draw backs to investing in mobile homes? Are they like single family houses where you can rent or sell, or is there another way of making money with mobile homes? Thanks JB

Hey everyone, I've made it a goal this year to purchase my first rental property. I've been researching for about a year now, and I know I'm not getting any younger. What are some of your stories on buying your first property? What got you over that fear, and is there any advice you could give me to take the leap? I would love to hear from everyone, but I love even more to hear from anyone who bought their first house using creative financing since this is what I'm aiming to do. Thank for all the help. JB

Hello all,
I've been reading up on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac homes, but still don't quite understand what they are. Can anyone give me a quick explanation of what these are. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you
JB

Jason, thank you for the input. At first glance, apartment buildings seem intimidating, but if you break it down it doesn't look so bad. I was wondering why you don't hear more about people diving right into apartment buildings. Guess it all depends on the deal.

All makes sense. Thank you! Don't have the capital right now, but owning an apartment complex will be a goal of mine for sure.
