Post: Looking for an amazing Tax Attorney or Tax person

So I used to have an amazing tax attorney in SF and he retired unfortunately. Then I had another great tax guy but he went to prison because he laundered money for the Russian mob.  Sooooo. I need a good tax person. Preferably one that knows what they are doing and don’t want the government to take all of my money.
I’m ok with driving anywhere in the Bay Area. I live in Concord now and my last two were in SF and SSF.
Thanks!

@David Song

It’s nuts. We are looking at buying a new construction and have found some nice ones for $700,000 and we are on a list of 100+ for 15 houses. We even went as far as Lathrop and same thing. Wait lists are crazy long.

@Chris Mason

Thanks. You're prob right. Here in California some homes depending on the "shed" sell for more possible ADU upgrade? Marijuana Grow room? Lol. But it sounds like it isn't much of a factor. I thought maybe having RV parking would up it too?

Houses near mine are going for $750k ish but no shed (we don’t have basements really around here) and no RV parking and I bought mine for $300k. So there is equity.

Thanks again. Appreciate it.

Thanks Everyone. I appreciate your time.

@Bradley Padul

What if the shed cost $20,000 with permits and foundation? It’s no rinky dinky shed.

I’m doing a cash out refinance on my property (2.65%) and I want to get the highest appraisal amount.  This is my primary residence.  Since I have bought it I built a 14’X24’ shed on a slab permitted with electrical.  I also just built a new fence gate so I can get a trailer/boat/camper in the side yard.  Would those make the value go up at all or not really?

Post: Interesting Situation. Comments are appreciated.

@Michael Brown

If you’re a man you should have a truck.

Haha jk. But yeah if you’re gonna do work it makes it very convenient. I don’t buy properties near me but I still love my truck.

@Emily K.

Reading all the comments is interesting. A few haters out there.

I like the idea. Only thing I’d be curious on is Insurance. If you had insurance and mine stated it wasn’t allowed and I wasn’t aware of it would it matter?

I’d allow someone to do this in my rental as long as I got a bigger deposit and maybe a bump.

Good luck. Please let us know how it goes

@Jessica Brennan work out a deal. Will he be getting money from the sale? Work out that depending on the amount. If you do decide to pass on this deal please let me know. I’ll take it off your hands.
