Thanks for the info Matt M., much appreciated.
I don't currently have a position lined up in Colorado, but am definitely on the hunt. Please do let me know if you have any information to get in contact with your friend in solar.
I've actually tried to send you a few messages today through the app that did not send for some reason, so hopefully this time works out.
Thanks Again,
Jason

Thank you for the info Tripp. I've actually been talking with Keller Williams Downtown there in Denver getting a bit more of a feel for the career and the staff so far is great. I'm happier to hear they are at the top of your list for someone new to the industry like myself.
I think you're plan on working with an agent to learn the local market sounds like a good one, and almost necessary. In that case, let me know when you're ready for that assistant in your 3 year plan!
How do you PM through this app by the way??
Thanks again for your time, really appreciate the insight.
Jason

Evening All,
I am a current Sacramento, CA resident in the midst of parting ways with my current career and making the move to beautiful Denver, CO with my lovely girlfriend to hopefully put some roots in the ground.
I'm 32 with a good career going in the solar industry, but with my girlfriend landing a great local job, I'm looking to explore a career in real estate while I have the opportunity, and will be parting ways with my current employer.
Real estate has always been intriguing to me, which has always eaten me up a bit, not being able to devote more time to learning strategies, being more involved in the market, and ultimately investing. But with this rather large move coming up, I think now is the right time for me to make that leap.
A few of the questions I had before diving in are below, and I greatly appreciate any feedback.
1. If there are any Denver Real Estate agents on this blog, would you recommend starting as an agent in the Denver market? And if so, are there any brokers you would recommend as a newby to the business?
2. Is working as an agent prior to investing recommended and/or necessary?
3. Are there any good events local to Denver that a rookie investor and/or agent would can get some good education and meet local industry professionals?
Thanks again for any feedback!
Cheers!
