I really would love to get into some type of Real Estate investing, rental properties, flips, development, multi family, etc, but I don't really know where to start. I am a licensed General Contractor in San Diego that has worked flips, multi million dollar homes and everything in between. I am very driven and know that I can make something happen but need guidance on how to put the pieces together. Does a person look for partners? Look for cheaper markets than San Diego to get started?  I don't have a ton of money to just throw at deals, so... how much of my money do even want to use?  I got all the construction knowledge, now I need to blossom that into the next level. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

We are a General Contracting company in San Diego that has done the majority of our work with one company over the last 7 years. We would love to expand our company to more investors and also try to do a couple single family homes as the investor.  In a nut shell we would like to expand in every possible direction.

We have done a lot of flips as the contractor and still going strong....but how do we get to the next level as the investor and the contractor? All of the parts are in place as the contractor, but what's next?

Hello everyone, I am new to this site but have heard great things about it. We feel as if we are getting to that point where every house we do ( for investors ) has the same paint color. Any ideas on new color trends in the San Diego Market?
