This past weekend my friend invited me as his guest to the Yancey Events, Real Estate Workshop. He paid a couple of thousand dollars to attend and a free guest was able to join so he was generous enough to call me.

This workshop was sponsored by Scott Yancey of the show Flipping Vegas. It was taught my a gentleman by the name of Brock Madsen. Mr. Madsen is an excellent presenter and really knows how to engage his audience. He is extremely knowledgeable about the investors mindset and real estate.

As there was tons of good information being taught, there was also the sales pitch to buy a Diamond membership for $40,000 which includes more classes, private one on one days with a Advanced Mentor, admission to seminars in Vegas etc.

I wanted to know if anyone on bigger pockets have participated an anything like this, what was your experience, and was it worth $40,000?

Cant wait to hear some feedback,

Thanks,

Jason

@Bill Gulley the developer ran out of funds during the 2009 downturn. The approved architectural drawings were for land improvements (streets, sewer, water, electrical etc.). Yes, i do mean 10,000 sqft lots for the use of residential houses.

@Account Closed thanks for the info. I am looking into what would be the highest and best use of this land.

@Leon D. thank you as well. The characteristics of the parcel that I have is unique. I own 3 acres of a 6 acre parcel that a business partner and I split. The parcel is located on the edge of a residential area and also zoned residential. It has streams and riparian zones which are off limits for building. The last developer/owner had approved permits and plans to build four 10,000 sqft parcels, 2 of the parcels are on my half of the property. It is a beautiful piece of property in a quiet area on the Oregon Coast.

Greetings, I have recently acquired 3 residential lots on the north side of Lake Elsinore California. One property has a view of the lake and is on a pretty flat piece of land close to the lake.

I guess what I am asking for is some local knowledge of the area i.e. where are the preferred locations, features, areas of concern etc.

Thank you for any feedback that your can give.
