Developing in Lake Elsinore, CA

Greetings, I have recently acquired 3 residential lots on the north side of Lake Elsinore California. One property has a view of the lake and is on a pretty flat piece of land close to the lake.

I guess what I am asking for is some local knowledge of the area i.e. where are the preferred locations, features, areas of concern etc.
