get your 4 yr degree too.  maybe major in real estate or finance.  the construction part you can learn as you go.  but a degree in finance or business will be best.

Marcus, I've never done it.  I'm new to this forum, so sorry i cant really give too many tips on land.  I was just curious if you're paying cash and going to hold ot for a while or.....?

flipping land?  how long are you going to hold it for?  takes a while to appreciate (land).  paying cash to start off?

tons and tons of investors in Orlando.  wow.  and a ton of foreign buyers are buying a ton of new construction to rent out.

I work in the building industry.  I love my job and the company I work for.  So I'm looking for something I can do on the side, on weekends, after work, etc.  That can generate some retirement money later on.

Thanks guys.  I was thinking of buying a small'ish lot in a grwoing area where costs are still reasonable.  Was thinking around the north Greenville SC area.  And then build a spec on it later on.
