2006 Goodman AC Unit for a 1,433 sq. ft. home. $1100 for parts and labor to repair the housing cage, blower motor and wheel. Quote is around 8-10k to replace the unit in AZ. Do you recommend placing or fixing it?

@Julie Hartman Thanks for your thoughtful response! I cancelled it and will continue to fix things as they come up. I did put in my lease that if the frig goes out I am responsible for fixing it or replacing it but not responsible for the contents inside. I had a tenant say that had 500 dollars worth of food that went bad one time... never again!

@Andy Eakes thanks for the feedback - I cancelled it and now looking for a frig replacement that's starting to go.

Do you recommend getting a home warranty? 14 months for $420 and covers HVAC/Appliances etc. $75 per service call. Thoughts? 1433 sq ft already fixed the AC but the frig is on the way out.

@Aaron Steinfeld Thank you very much! If you need a great electrician, please let me know. Last year I had the entire electrical in the home completed.
