Good evening Bigger Pockets members, my Name is Jared B. I am currently 22 at the moment and am barely starting out w Wholesaling Real-estate, whether it be local or virtually. Right now I am learning as much as I can so I can actually get started and land my first deal. I am looking for either a JV (Joint-Venture) partner or Mentor around the Inland Empire area who can teach me the Ins & Outs of wholesaling real estate. My goal is to close at least 1 deal before 2022 starts or at least JV a couple deals and learn from there. I am really motivated and determined to hustle under any means necessary to change my current lifestyle so if your willing to teach a prodigy at works, I'm willing to learn from an experienced master at hand. Hi BP community, my name is Jared Bersamin, I’m currently 19 years old and very new to real estate but I am willing to learn as much as I can (before my test at the end of the year). I’m from a city in the San Bernardino county called Upland, California about 45 mins away from Los Angeles. For work, I am a IT technician full-time (working under my uncle). But I plan to leave and start doing real estate full time once I accumulate enough from this job. My goal is to become a successful real estate agent, create a cash flow for myself, learn something everyday and help others on their own journey to success as well. I am very ambitious and excited to get into the real estate because I would love to do this for the rest of my life or at least until I can retire and start my own company. But for now, I am willing to do whatever it takes to thrive and kill, not literally, in this industry.

I was wondering what I can start doing as a real estate agent as of right now, and where I can start? I’m lost in the startup and don’t really know what I can do expect for studying for my exam and reading more books. P.S. what books do you think would be a great start for me?

As of now, my brokerage (once I do get my license) will be Remax because my friends mother, who is barely mentoring me, is helping me out, kind of.
