If you buy a fix-and-flip property and use a hard money lender to fund it (your LLC as the borrower), why would the bank ask for a personal guarantee? Let's say it's a two-member LLC, and the bank is asking for one guarantor. What is the best way to handle it so that both LLC members have a skin in the game?
