The question becomes how much of a risk are you willing to start with.  A 2-4 unit carries less risk financially than a 8-10 unit.

@Justin Woodworth are you a realtor by trade or did you get your license as part of being an investor?  I've heard of investors doing such and I'm curious.

Greetings to the vast members on BP. I'm excited to say I've just started learning and getting into the world of REI; approximately two weeks ago after a little push from a friend of mine. I have built two houses of my own over the last 10 years because I wanted the best for my family. I want to take those skills and apply them to Buy and Hold and/or BRRRRing. I live in the Wisconsin Dells area and would love to network with people.
