@Thomas Rutkowski I'm not going to argue I do understand my products. I also understand insurance policies are very poor investments. There are much better options out there. Have a good day.

@Ashish Acharya I totally agree. I sell health and life insurance and I will not sell someone universal or any other whole life that has the separate cash value attached to it. You are much better off buying a term policy and investing the difference in some other way.

I'm at HomeSmart there on 31. The office fees seemed reasonable to me. I would check around and compare the office fees, with being part time you don't want to be paying out an arm and a leg in fees and not making any money back. Phil is the managers name.

I agree with the previous posts in that you should call his broker. Also find out if he is an agent or a Realtor. If he is indeed a Realtor then I would contact the NAR as well.

Anyone have any input on the marketplace? Is the coverage good, any problems? I got a quote but noticed the major medical they quoted me was all term for only 3 months. Is there a longer term available for the major medical or do you just have to enroll every 3 months?

Thanks for the replies, I obviously don't use quit claims so I was unsure and did not want to assume. As of right now they still want to make the drive, I was just trying to bring a easier solution.

Hello everyone, This situation just came up in my family. Family member A lives in Missouri and owns an income property here in Indiana. "A" has not been paying Indiana property taxes and received a letter that it will go to judgment. "A" does not want to try and pay the taxes and told family member B that if they want to pay the delinquency that family member "A" will quit claim the property to them.

Here is my question: Can this be done across state lines without "A" and "B" both physically being in the same room before a notary? Family member "B" is ready to drive to Missouri to sign the quit claim but if there is a way they could do this without making the trip it would of course be better.

Jim the way Carlos explained it is pretty much the way it is here in Indiana. The steps are...

Pre license course price varies

State test $65

Make application $65

Join you will go through Mibor $$$

Hang license with broker

If you're that worried about it talk to a lawyer, pay the money and have your record expunged. Then you can just check "no" on that part of the application.
