Hey Sasha! Are you familiar with Codie Sanchez? She has YouTube videos on this as well as newsletters and much more. She actually got me interested in doing this myself. Have you made any more progress or learned anything helpful since posting this? Would love to learn as well so any knowledge is appreciated!

Just bought a home for the purpose of turning it into an Airbnb and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to go about buying the furniture without using my own cash - loans, or credit cards etc. Thanks!

Just got an offer accepted on a home in San Antonio (first one so super excited) however we just found out the house is fitted with cast iron pipes. We want to get someone to do an inspection to assess the current state of the pipes.

Hello,

My fiancé and I are looking to get our first Airbnb. I understand when looking at long term rentals, school ratings, development in the area, crime rates, etc all matter. My question is - do those things weigh in as much for short term rentals like airbnbs? We found a possible home in San Antonio that is within 10 minutes from downtown. However the area is not so great.

Hello!

My fiancé and I are looking to get an Airbnb in San Antonio. Upon looking, we found a place within our budget and after analyzing, will do well. However, we are concerned with the area. The home is 13 minutes south of downtown and so far we've learned that north of San Antonio is where the development is at. We also looked at the crime rate, and most of the south side of SA is considered to be in a bad area. We don't plan on ever living there long term or renting it out long term; we want to keep it as a STR. Because this will be a STR, do poor graded schools and low development matter as much?
