Columbia City yes! Small town but they are trying to develop more of it at the moment. Well that is awesome man! Ping me when you are in town.

Bigger pockets is great. I would also recommend attend the Reia meeting every 3rd Saturday of the month in Fort Wayne. Each meeting has a different topic and there is a wealth of experience and knowledge there. You can use my name if you like to attend the first meeting free.

Adam! Actually I was at the local REIA last month for the first time. I think you were sitting in at the table in front of me against the wall. Your journey really struck me man! You have 8 or 9 properties already in the short amount of time you've been at it? That's impressive and inspiring! I've began networking meeting with one of the guys from the meeting this past week, and Wednesday I'm going to meet with a mentor named Samuel, that Scott recommended to me. I definitely want to hear more about your story. We should meet up sometime! Thanks for the welcome!

I've watched more basket cases fail thinking they are leaders, than not.. Just because you hired someone does not make you a leader. I can count the number of people I have meet in my lifetime that are true leaders, on one hand. When you see it, you will know it, it's undeniable... people walk through walls, and build business for that person like no other. People want to work for the company, no matter the pay. Those people lead by following, believing in their people, and not by trying to find reason to fire people, or play petty games. They understand when there is a failure in operations, it's a failure in leadership.

Levi, well said! I agree with you. I've had a few true leaders in my life that have took me with them and taught me what I know today. Only one or two of them I really aspire to. I'm a young leader with only two years under my belt. It's been challenging but my business has a network of phenomenal leaders that have been there by my side the whole way.

Hello! I'm James Yoder, 27, a Sales Manager for a Cadillac dealership in the Hoosier state! My cousin and I were brainstorming some things the other day and he mentioned the "cash flow quadrant" which I was like huhhh. So, of course after that I picked up Rich Dad Poor Dad and my imagination, thoughts, drive took off from there. My heart and mind have been racing since!

I've read The Ultimate Guide for Beginners to Real Estate Investing(long title), Building Wealth One House at a Time, and someone just got me started on Multiple Streams of Income. Every day I'm spending 1-2 hours learning REI through reading, listening, watching, and it's became an addiction. Like to the point where there isn't any fear anymore because you know this is your calling. This is it and you won't fail.

No Investing experience but I have bought two new homes in the past four years. Lived in the first one a few years, market value went up 3% on average a year so sold that then took the equity and purchased our current home.

Goals, well I have many but my first one at hand is to acquire my first property by September this year. Then step down from my managers position in 2019 so I can invest more time and focus on making REI my full time business. I'll have twenty buy n holds by then and have flipped five properties. Those currently are my short and mid term goals. Long term would be to enter multiple markets after five years, play in an online space, then turn my REI business over to my son in my early 40's then passively invest in other REI investors and businesses.

Mobile homes, multi family, and single family have my attention at the moment. Just trying to funnel that down to one to start with.

I'm a little stuck at the moment. I don't have much capital to play with, so once I have this business plan finished(this week) I will be trying to connect with friends, family, accuantences, and others to find private lending. I have no experience so it will be difficult but I'm aggressive, driven, creative, and a quick learner so with enough effort I'll find the "how".

So, that's where I have been, where I am, and where I'm going. Super pumped to be part of this community!
