Being from Nyc, useless you can catch a foreclosure .. I haven't seen those prices for a SFH for awhile. The South East Bronx....might have that.

Dont know if they are going adjust the ferry from Soundview to ever go to Queens but check it out

Thank you everybody. I think I was looking too much into the numbers but it seems the good places are where homeownership is very high and renters are low.

I am looking in several markets.  I am wondering as looking through the data of each market. I have seen homeowner of certain neighborhood high as 70 percent and low as 50 percent. Does anyone use this data on determining where to buy and hold.

Find your niche and mastered that first. I am currently looking at multifamily and some single family ( if the numbers work). It is much easier to focus on thing than the  several other avenues of making money  in rental estate.

It took me over 10 years to buy property. The reason why it took so long because.... I didn't know where to started and I was scared with no help.

I say find out which one make sense with your situation and take the dive because if you don't... you will be in the same spot asking the same questions  several months from now.

@Ryan Keenan I say take your fees out the deposit and hand the rest of the deposit to her but have proof that you did it. Make peace of the situation and move on.

I ran across a Real Estate Investor website called https://fundrise.com/.

Has anyone done business with them.
