@Erik K. Thank you for the information! I will look into that starting today. Is there anywhere specifically to find a joint venture deal? A company, or resource available?

I hopefully will be able to put in a little bit more than 15k into the deal... as I said I am a college student so funds are limited! Lol.

@Tanner Kier

I’m a student from Rosemount, MN and would offer Finance as the best option. I go to UW-Madison and my school offers real estate as well. With finance you have an insight as to the numbers and will have a better idea on the little things that go into an investment.

All of the majors you listed generally will apply to business so anything that gives you an edge such as finance or accounting is worth going for!

Hello all,

I am a 20 year old college student at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. For the past 2 years I’ve had my eyes on investing in a real estate property located in Windsor Hills, Orlando Florida.

The property would be a $180k-$210k, 3 bed/3 bath condo within 2 miles of Disney World.

The rental would be a short term rental property allowing visiting families to stay for as little as 3 days.

The average Windsor Hills property is booked 70-75% of the year and can be managed by a handful of greatly reviewed property management companies.

I am in contact with a realtor and a couple management companies who I have ran the numbers with and the conservative cash on cash amount would be somewhere around $10,000 yearly.

If anyone has any idea as to the best way to syndicate this property, let me know!
