@Scot Richard thanks for the message. The next meetup will be on June 20th. I will post in bigger pockets again. This one will be building on our first and go into the basics of managing a property, software and pricing strategy. Hope you can attend.

@Jason Allen I don’t do Airbnb arbitrage. I own the properties I rent but there are many people doing well with the arbitrage model.

@Lauren B. I think this is typical of all industries. You have great companies who manage their properties well, including from afar like @Lucas Carl and you have companies who don’t manage as well.

You can see this in hotels as well as well as any other industry you can think of. I manage my own listings but from 3 hours away and have great support staff that make sure everything is right.

Sorry you had a bad experience. I think writing appropriate reviews is important to flag the issue for the next person.

@Sofia Sharkey I’ve had some good luck on Steamboat springs, co with small multiunit properties.

Colorado Springs is also pretty and investor friendly.

Neither of these is on the warmer side. How did you get going in Kansas City? I thought they ended up only allowing primary residence Airbnb’s.

@David Lowe yes they do purchase and refinance. Work with a number of lenders and find the right one for you.
